The Involuntary Creator's Manifesto

A personal statement on my unintended drive to create, addressing questions about my perceived place in the creator economy.

I create because I must; creation is enough.
Seen or unseen, heard or unheard,
what I make endures beyond numbers.

Not for metrics, not for sales,
not for tactics chasing numbers.

But for the simple joy of forming something from nothing.

Platforms hum with noise as they ask,
"Who is your audience? What is your worth? How will you scale?"

I remain, regardless.
Without questions or answers,
the work still comes.
The music still forms.
The words still get written.

I will leave one day;
you need not miss my presence.

Am I alone?
Or do others act likewise—
creating not for extraction but for connection;
not to climb but simply to remain,
grounded in creation.
